We imagined a natural connection between the dining experience and the gardens: starting the evening with dinner at our restaurant, then continuing with a visit to Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes. Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes: Versailles after dark
Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes takes place every Saturday from June 6 to September 19, 2026, with an exceptional opening on Tuesday, July 14. As soon as night falls, the palace gardens are transformed. Visitors stroll through groves and fountains enhanced by light displays, while music guides them along the way. Water, light, and sound interact constantly throughout the experience. As the walk continues, the gardens reveal new perspectives: statues appear differently, pathways feel more intimate, and the fountains can be discovered from a completely new angle. The evening naturally ends with a fireworks display lighting up the sky above Versailles. A special evening opening at ore – Ducasse at the Palace of Versailles
Our restaurant is usually open during the day. For Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes, we have chosen to open exceptionally in the evening, only for the duration of the event. Every Saturday, we welcome our guests from 7 pm. This schedule allows enough time to enjoy dinner before heading to the gardens for the start of Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes at 8:30 pm. We designed this evening opening as a natural extension of the Versailles experience. Dining at our restaurant offers a calm and elegant beginning to the evening before stepping into the excitement of the show. A menu that changes throughout the summer
From June to September, ingredients naturally evolve with the season, and so do our menus. Under the direction of Chef Nina Belin and Pastry Chef Arnaud Dutertre, we work with summer produce at its very best. Sun-ripened vegetables, perfectly ripe fruits, and seasonal fish all find their place in colorful and flavorful dishes. Roasted meats also play an important role in the menu, bringing a generous touch to the meal. Our desserts highlight fruits and chocolate, reflecting the flavors of summer.This constant evolution allows us to offer lively seasonal cuisine directly inspired by the best products of the moment.

During these unique evenings, we aim to create a complete experience by pairing the outdoor show with a refined summer dinner. The evening begins at the table, in our bright and elegant dining room. After a fresh and flavorful meal, it is time to head to the gardens. The illuminated pathways, moving fountains, and music accompanying visitors create a joyful and immersive atmosphere. The experience builds gradually throughout the walk, ending with the final fireworks display. This combination of gastronomy and cultural experience gives the evening a truly special atmosphere.
